  The Department of Development promotes economic opportunities to improve the profits and prosperity of Ohio's citizens.

Ohio Fuel Cell Coalition : www.fuelcellsohio.org
  The Ohio Fuel Cell Coalition is a consortium of industry, academic, and government leaders from throughout the State of Ohio who are dedicated to developing and implementing a forward looking plan to advance the fuel cell industry in Ohio.

Stark State Fuel Cell Technologies : www.starkstate.edu/fuelcell
  To help Ohio create and retain high quality jobs, Stark State College of Technology is constructing a $4.4 million Fuel Cell Prototyping Center. Scheduled for completion by the spring of 2006, it will be used by emerging power technology companies to assist them in prep-commercialization prototyping and demonstration stages of the development of fuel-cell based power generation systems. It also will be used by the education sector to prepare technicians and engineers for careers in this emerging field.

Third Frontier Fuel Cell Program : www.thirdfrontier.com
  This Ohio Department of Development program awards grants to support the growth of Ohio’s fuel cell industry through collaborations that involve higher education institutions, non-profit research organizations, and for-profit companies. Projects must focus on research and development that addresses technical and cost barriers to commercialization and adapting fuel cell components produced in Ohio for use in fuel cell systems.

Wright Fuel Cell Group : www.wrightfuelcellgroup.org
  The Wright Fuel Cell Group is a dynamic organization composed of partnerships among academic institutions, businesses, and nonprofits. Created and funded by Governor Taft’s Third Frontier Project, the group works to accelerate the rate of commercialization of fuel cell technology by linking fuel cell research to industry and vice versa, communicating each partners capabilities and needs to the Wright Group so that information, equipment, and facilities can be better utilized, and by offering a fuel cell test facility for new technologies and products to be tested.
