The Core Technology (CT) Program is a collaborative research and development program that applies the combined strengths of industrial, academic, and government members to:

  • Develop new industrial materials and processes
  • Improve performance of existing materials and manufacturing processes
  • Identify alternatives
  • Improve overall quality of process materials.

Defined, prioritized, and coordinated by EMTEC members, these projects are one-to-three years in length and produce results which are available to all EMTEC members, who may then commercialize the technology or apply the project's outcome to their individual needs. These projects focus on producing results that have practical applications to industry.
